September Newsletter
Another pipe show has come and gone, and what a great one it was! I can’t think of a single thing that went wrong. I may be biased, but overall this was an incredible show. We had 275 vendors/attendees that came through across the whole weekend!
I would like to thank our amazing sponsors one more time: Missouri Meerschaum, Redeemed Pipes, Tobacco Stop & The Big Ash Cigar Lounge, Timber & Smoke Co, Tinbids, Blue Lion Coffee and of course our host and sponsor Mississinewa Cigar Company. Without their donations to our show, we could not have successfully made the changes that we did from last year to this year.
We also had many of our club members who stepped up to help with registration, set up and tear down, and making sure all of our guests felt welcomed.
Last but not least, thank you to all our vendors and attendees. You all brought a great variety of artisan, estates and more tobacco than I would expect at a show of our size. Well done!

2026 Indiana Pipe Show Slow Smoke
The slow smoke this year looked a little different. We made it a free entry event, and contestants were able to provide their own pipe. The tobacco was “Mississinewa Morning” a house blend provided by Mississinewa Cigar Company.

Future Meetings
Our holiday meeting will take place at Villa Havana in Planfield, IN on November 14th at 1pm. We will be having a pot luck dinner, with the main course provided by the club. Everyone is encouraged to bring a side or dessert. There will be a discussion in the club Discord so we aren’t all bringing mac & cheese and green bean casserole.
January 16th will take place at Mississinewa Cigar Company, more details to come as this will also be our meeting to elect new board members, if any are contested.
End of the Year Thoughts
Hello Indiana pipe smokers, and friends!
I wanted to touch base with everyone and recap a few things, as well as talk about the future.
We had a great turn out at our Holiday meet up in November with 20 in attendance, including 3 new faces. We had great conversations and shared some tobaccos. Our tin exchange was a great success and looking forward to spicing it up next year.
Our January meet up is set for January, 17th at Professional Smoke in Bargersville at 1 pm. As mentioned at our last meet up this will be a more formal meeting where we will vote on a few items as well as elections for board positions, if any are contested. More info on this will be sent out to individuals who are due paying club members.
At the last board meeting it was brought up that we have neglected the northern part of the state this past year. You can expect a couple more meet ups around Fort Wayne, and NW Indiana in 2026. If you know of a tobacco shop or smoking lounge, or a good place that is pipe friendly in those areas, shoot an email to indianapipeclub@gmail.com or fill out the contact info with a message.
